US Cyber Team Members Compete in HBG Global Tournament “Holiday Mayhem” Hosted by HackTheBox (HTB) and Sponsored by Snyk
Select members of the US Cyber Team will join the best hackers from around the globe for a Holiday Mayhem livestream Hacking Battlegrounds (HBG) event on Friday, December 17 at 1:00 PM UTC / 8:00 AM ET for three hours of awesome hacking battles streamed live.
HackTheBox (HTB) has teamed with sponsor Snyk with support from PlayCyber for an epic Hacking Battlegrounds live-streamed tournament where members of the US Cyber team will face off against 15 elite teams representing Australia, Czech Republic, Namibia, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Ireland, India, South Korea, Malaysia/Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Argentina, Italy, and Greece. These top 32 hackers are each representing their countries to become the grand prize Holiday Mayhem winner. Teams will have the opportunity to win awesome prizes composed of training, swag and more totaling over £5000, not to mention bragging rights.

Live Holiday Mayhem Event
Friday, December 17, 2021, 1:00 PM UTC / 8:00 AM ET.
- Round 1 - Opening: 16 teams will have 20 minutes to compete on a single machine.
- Round 2 - Quarter-final: 8 teams will compete on two new machines again in 20 minutes.
- Round 3 - Semi-final: 4 teams competed on 1 new machine of escalated difficulty in 20 minutes.
- Round 4 - Final: 2 teams compete on 1 machine and only 20 minutes will determine the ultimate winner.

Our mission is to bring together elite cyber athletes, coaches, and industry leaders to help scout, train, and send a US Cyber Team to take the gold at the International Cybersecurity Challenge (ICC) in June 2022.
